     Our carousel horse Glass Eyes are all flat back, dome top.

                You measure the diameter of the hole where the eyes are placed.

     Brown Eyes are usual for most Carousel Horse and are in Stock.

                Green and Blue are available on 2 week delivery.

        Other colors, or eyes for specialty/fantasy items like lions, deer and other creatures                         by special order.

Rocking Horse Leather Ears

For all your poor little horses who have lost their ears through the many years they have been running around.

We make leather replacement ears.

Black, Brown or Tan .  You will receive 1 PAIR of ears.

3-piece Mane and Tail Set for your Rocking Horse

       Includes a tail, mane, and forelock piece.

         These are real horse hair on the hide, just as the originals were.

Please measure your horse from the top of his head to the ground.

       Manes are tacked and glued onto the head and neck starting on the head between the ears. Go down the center back neck. Manes should end 4-6 inches above the back of the horse so children to not get their hands wound up in the manes. 

      Most Manes on real Rocking horses were trimmed after being tacked onto the horse.

All tails are Real Horse hair on the hide, trimmed, cleaned and ready for use.

      Rocking horse tails are on long narrow strips of real hide 1/2 to 1" wide.

Carousel Horse Bits 
 These are the pieces in or next to the Horse's mouth that connect to the reins. We have several types.

 Screw and Ring, 2 piece bit holders that screw in next to the horse's mouth, one size.

Brass or Chrome, Can be used on any size Rocking horse, rings are 1 to 1 1/8" diameter.

These are the Leather Straps that hold the Stirrups or Irons onto the Horse.

              We have both new and old leathers.

Sold by the pair $25.00, adjustable to ride or use on your Rocking horse.

Width on the Leathers is 5/8 to 3/4 inch (it varies)

New leathers come in Black or Brown

                 Old leather is a dark brown...to faded black

Select old or new to blend with your  Horse.

     We do sell extra leather to make or repair your own Bridles. Sorry we do Not make Bridles and saddles at this time.
