Antique Wood Dentzel-Muller Prancer
Dapple Gray with Black Mane and Tail, Dark Gray Points
This horse was carved circa 1910-1925 in the Dentzel Factory in New York. He is a stationary horse, never went up and down. All wood antique, Considered to be a Prancer horse. Head position is considered a Tucked Head, head looking down( glass eyes)...carved single plain breast strapping with a Fleur d’lis flank strap and a full body length almost harness style strap with a fringe.
This horse is a Dapple Gray with a Dark Gray mane and Horse hair tail. Tan and brown Saddle, and No blanket, Slate blue, Maroon , and gold leaf trim. No jewels on this horse.
Measurements are approximately 60"x 65"long x 11".
Includes Brass base and brass pole. And oval wood base.
Condition issues,Wood looks to be in very good shape, some seam problems beginning to separate in the chest blocks in these photos. Crack developing under its chin and back left leg. He has been fully restored some chipped paint on one leg.
