Parker Carousel Horse Jumper Semi Armored
This all wood antique horse circa 1900-15. Made by Parker company
Abilene, Kansas. Acquired from a Morgantown, PA carousel that was being broken up in 1988 at auction. Parker Jumper Outer Row Semi Armored ,Stargazer head position, in park paint, with large tiger heads on the cantle, and a jewel on the bridle & horsehair tail, glass eyes, metal horseshoes.
This horse is a standard size Traveling jumper.
Measures 58" L x 45" H. He is an outer Double blanket with breast collar, one fringed blanket and one armored style blanket. He is a typical Parker, compact, easy to transport. He is a Tri-colored Pinto horse, Brown, Black & white, with a black mane and horse hair tail.
Condition. She has crack at the neck body seam. Metal bracing on the front legs, crack front knees. Other seam separation starting. The metal banding was done to repair or hold the legs together … She should have had rings for the reins, and Stirrup holders on the sides.
