      This Carousel horse is an  Antique  Allan Herschell  traveling  horse, circa C. 1935-1950. This  Herschell horse was manufactured in Tonawanda, New York. This carousel company produced its first portable carousels in America sometime from 1900 on, and first started producing Jumping horse carousels in 1910.  This is a Traveler Machine horse, for up and down mechanism.
        This is a Half and Half horse, or Jughead. The Head, possibly tail and maybe legs are Aluminum. He is a Middle  Row Horse , Stargazer head up position, with no Jewels. In old Park paint. 
       Middle row horses have double blankets, saddle . There is no design pattern, they were usually stenciled on  the blankets and saddle and Breast collar. He has a Plain bridle. He is not one of the fancier ones done for the more elaborate machines, but a nice horse.
       The body is constructed of all wood, and is hollow. He has Metal shoes just made for them.
        This is in old Park Paint, looks like several layers at least,
              The condition of this horse is good. All unrestored. The seams look to be starting to separate a little, not unusual for his age. 
  He does have all his original parts including the stirrup strap holders and the rein/bit holder.

All smaller items are shipped Priority Mail, Yes we do combine shipping. Brass bases, saddles and larger items are shipped FedEx Ground. Carousel Horses, and Coin Op horses are shipped Commercial Trucker on Pallets, crating if necessary is additional.

Return Policy

All special order, close out, consignment, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned for any reason.

Prior to returning any item, Please contact us in order to receive a return authorization.

All returns after 15 days will be for store credit only. Shipping Charges are not refundable.

Customer is responsible for return shipping.

All items must be returned in perfect condition. All packing, boxes, labels, tags must be attached to or returned with item. Damaged goods will not be accepted and will be returned to customer. Credit Card Refunds may only be made to the same card used for the original purchase.
