Stained Parker Supreme Jubilee Jeweled Jumper
This all wood antique horse circa 19010-25. Made by Parker company (Leavenworth), Kansas, USA. This horse is a Giant size Jubilee Superior Jumper. Only 6 carousels with this size horses were ever made. He is very similar to a “Lillibelle” horse.
This horse measures 74 inches long, and 53 inches tall. Head up, Stargazer position, he is an Outer Row horse. Double blanket with breast collar, with many large rounded cabochon jewels. Beautiful Peek-a-boo mane,wood carved tail, Fish carved on the romance side, and in back of the saddle is a figure. This is a jumper with glass eyes, Carving on the back of the saddle, and and should have rings for the reins, and missing metal original belly plate, has original 11 worth horseshoes.
He has been stripped and is in varnish finish. The neck , body joint shows filling from separating,
and possibly the legs to body need reattaching. Wood looks to be in good condition.
The horse is mounted on a wood base with old Brass twisted poles.
